1968 ford f100 battery problem?
Brent asked:
If I drive my truck and do not run the lights, my battery does not drop. If I drive the truck with the lights on and then turn the truck off, it usually will not turn the motor over to start. If I jump it off and then don’t run the lights, It is fine. What is the cause. I had the battery checked and they said it was fine. (Just a kid with a tester at auto zone.) Any suggestions?

Your alternator belt may be a little loose. When you turn on the lights, you are putting a load on the system. So tighten up the belt a bit and try that.
