I just recently bought a Canon powershot SX120 IS and I am wondering if I can use rechargeable batteries with them.
Rechargeables tend to last much longer.
But I don’t wanna **** up my camera D:

For any cameras that use normal (standard) batteries (i.e. AA or AAA) you can always use an equivalent rechargables. Just make sure they are the same type!
From my research, I found that you will need AA rechargables. Energizer AA Rechargable would be perfect
As long as it is the same voltage I don’t see why not. Your user’s manual should mention in the warnings any battery types you shouldn’t use.
