What would be the best batteries for a digital camera?

jag2618 asked:

i recently bought a kodak c813 and works good. it uses 2 AA batteries.

Which batteries would last the longest because i know most cameras drain the energy fast, but which ones would be the best?

for cameras that use AA, the experts say NiMH rechargeables are best. Not sure they have lithium rechargeables for AA, but lithium AA are disposables and last very long.

lithium batteries last 7 times longer than regular AA’s, while your rechargeable last about 4x longer per charge. For your moneys worth, it is cheaper and more efficient to get the rechargeable, they can be used over and over until they stop holding a charge, while your lithiums last only once, then you have to get more. Your lithium batteries also cost about as much to get as rechargeable batteries.

Almost any brand of rechargeable double A’s are suitable as long as they are rated no less than 2300 mAs; but no higher than 2500 mAs.

    Good luck!
